  • A run is a collection of three or more consecutive cards in the same suit, whereas a set is a group of three or four cards of the same rank but different suits. In order to add even more strategic depth to the game, players can add cards to runs and sets that have already been played on the table. Before placing their cards on the table, a player must first form sets and runs in their hand.
