  • The discard pile is started by turning the top card in this pile face up. Tossing one card from their hand, each player takes a turn drawing a card from the draw or discard pile. Creating sets, or three or four cards of the same rank, or runs, or three or more consecutive cards of the same suit, is the objective. Once all of a player's cards have been formed into sets and runs, they can go out by discarding their last card.
