The $100,000 Mystery Bounty Main Event final table has a different dynamic this week thanks to the $10,000 jackpot bounty still being in play with only eight players remaining. The $10,000 bounty is usually won before the eight-handed final table is set, but not this time.
Some 975 players flocked to 888poker for this week's event, leaving a slight overlay on the $100,000 guarantee. Two players bagged $3,000 bounties before crashing out: "4KLOVER4ME" and "BYLIA," who fell in 130th and 108th yet still won more money than some of the finalists!
Armenia's "Miyamu" was the chip leader at the start of the final table, which the 888poker Twitch channel streamed, with Ukraine's "xxflashxxx" bringing up the rear. Here's how the final table action panned out.
$100,000 Mystery Bounty Main Event Final Table Chip Counts
Rank | Player | Country | Chips | Big Blinds |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Miyamu | Armenia | 3,282,604 | 82 |
2 | d5t6y7 | United Kingdom | 3,115,999 | 78 |
3 | chuchuka | Ukraine | 2,515,191 | 63 |
4 | PosserBros | Brazil | 1,979,353 | 50 |
5 | ajugar3 | Chile | 1,568,705 | 39 |
6 | POTCHECKER99 | Germany | 900,580 | 23 |
7 | __Tandem | Ukraine | 761,318 | 19 |
8 | xxflashxxx | Ukraine | 501,250 | 13 |
"Miyamu" endured a dreadful time at the final table, with nothing coming off for the Armenian. Amazingly, despite starting the Day 2 as the chip leader, "Miyamu" was the first finalist out of the door. Their participation ended when they min-raised to 120,000 in the cutoff with ace-queen of hearts before calling off the 1,961,003 they had behind when "d5t6y7" three-bet all-in from the big blind with ace-queen.
A chop looked likely but the board ran with four spades and "d5t6y7" has the ace of spades in their hand. A cruel way to bust but quite typical of how the eliminated player's day went.
A Double Elimination!
It may have taken 45 minutes for the first player to bust, but two crashed out in the same hand a few minutes later. "d5t6y7" min-raised to 140,000 in late position with king-nine, "__Tandem" called on the button with ace-ten only for "chuchuka" to three-bet all-in for 603,586 from the small blind with king-queen of clubs. "d5t6y7" responded by ripping in their big stack, and "__Tandem" called all-in, too! A nine on the flop was enough to win the pot for "d5t6y7" and send two players to the rail.

Fifth-place went to "ajugar3" during the same level as the double elimination. They min-raised to 140,000 with pocket nines from the cutoff, "POTCHECKER99" three-bet to 455,000 from the big blind with pocket kings before calling the 1,684,714 shove from "ajugar3." A jack-high board sent "ajugar3" to the rail. "POTCHECKER99" waited with bated breath as the golden mystery bounty envelope opened on the screen, revealing the $10,000 jackpot!
Brazil's "PosserBros" fell in fourth at the hands of "POTCHECKER99." The action folded to "PosserBros" in the small blind, and they open-shoved for 1,249,878 with king-seven during the 40,000/80,000 level. "POTCHECKER99" called with pocket fives, and won the flip after improving to an unlikely flush.
Heads-up was reached following the untimely demise of "xxflashxxx" in third. They opened-shoved for five big blinds with queen-nine from the small blind, and "d5t6y7" called with king-four from the big blind. King-high was enough to win the pot and halt an epic comeback story for "xxflashxxx" who had sat down at the final table as the shortest stack.
"d5t6y7" went into the heads-up battle with "POTCHECKER99" holding a chip lead of more than three-to-one. However, the heads-up duo struck a deal to lessen the pay jumps before resuming playing.
We say resumed playing but they started moving all-in every hand, and "POTCHECKER99" flipped the best. "POTCHECKER99" won the first two flips before winning the all-important third. They jammed with pocket queens, "d5t6y7" called all-in with king-nine, and the queens held to win the tournament for Germany's "POTCHECKER99."
