It's important to monitor which cards they are discarding so you can learn important information about which ones they probably need and which ones you should try to keep or throw away.
  • A player must discard one card from their hand onto the discard pile after drawing a card from either the draw or discard pile throughout each turn. Creating runs and sets of cards in your hand is the aim of Rummy Gold. Three or more cards of the same rank make up a set, and three or more consecutive cards of the same suit make up a run. A player may knock to end the round and reveal their hand after they have formed sets and runs in their hand.
