The annual $25K Fantasy Draft is one of the most exciting sweats of the World Series of Poker (WSOP), and poker fans can follow their Fantasy Draft player picks with PokerNews.
The $25,000 buy-in draft, which is hosted by Daniel Negreanu and will take place on Tuesday, May 27 at PokerGO Studio, gives teams a $200 allowance to bid on players to form their roster. Dozens of top high-stakes poker players participate in the draft every summer, and the same is true for David "ODB" Baker's $500 buy-in counterpart fantasy draft.

Want to keep up with your Fantasy Draft picks and know what events they're running deep in? There are several ways to do so on PokerNews, the first of which through their player badges.
Each player who is selected on draft night will receive a $25K Fantasy badge displayed next to their name and chip count, a feature that debuted at the 2024 WSOP.

Coverage will kick off with the draft itself, which is scheduled to take place inside PokerGO Studio on May 27. PokerNewswill be on-site to offer live updates of the draft as well as interviews with various players in attendance.
Last summer's draft saw 152 players auctioned off into 19 teams of eight, with the highest bids commanded by Negreanu ($132), Alex Livingston ($110), Shaun Deeb ($104), Yuri Dzivielevski ($90) and Joao Vieira ($84).
Team The Dinkers, which was headed by Josh Kay and Jerry Wong, came out on top to claim the $225,000 first-place prize after selecting the likes of John Racener (336 points), Brian Rast (259 points), Bryce Yockey (240 points), Robert Mizrachi (212 points), Chris Brewer (181 points), David Coleman (97 points), Ben Lamb (94 points), and Wong (18 points).
