Only one player has won seven World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets in the past 10 years of live WSOP events, excluding the COVID year (2020). No, it isn't Shaun Deeb, nor is it Jeremy Ausmus or Phil Hellmuth.

This poker pro doesn't get the mainstream attention he probably deserves. While Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu, and Phil Ivey get most of the headlines, this individual often flies under the radar. But he's been so dominant at the WSOP for years that the poker world — not just the hardcore crowd — should be made aware of his historic accomplishments.

Have you been able to figure out who we're talking about? Need a few more hints? The poker pro we're referring to has over $9.1 million in live tournament cashes, according to The Hendon Mob. He's from England and recently won back-to-back bracelets for the second time in his career.

Ready for the big reveal? Benny Glaser. That's the answer. Glaser has seven World Series of Poker bracelets, putting him in a tie for seventh place with five other players. He's won all that jewelry since 2015, most in the game.

Glaser took down Event #15: $1,500 Mixed: Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better on Thursday for $258,193, beating out 1,239 entrants. That was the first tournament he entered since he won Event #8: $1,500 Dealers Choice for $150,246.

"I'm feeling amazing," Glaser said shortly after winning his heads-up battle against runner-up Travis Pearson. "This one feels more outrageously surreal. It still hasn't sunk in. (Heads-up) was really a tough battle. I was overall impressed with how (Pearson) played. I hadn't really played him before this tournament. There were one or two hands that were pretty rough, but I was able to re-center myself back in."

That wasn't the first time Glaser went back-to-back. In 2016, he won two bracelets in a week, both in Omaha hi-lo events, one a $10,000 buy-in and the other $1,500.

Crushing the WSOP

Glaser is the only player who has won seven bracelets over the past 10 live WSOP's, which of course doesn't include 2020 since one didn't exist. Scott Seiver, the 2024 WSOP Player of the Year, is the only other player to have won six bracelets since 2016.

Glaser's greatness over the past decade isn't limited to winning bracelets. He's reached 28 final tables over that span in live WSOP bracelet events, including World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) and World Series of Poker Paradise (WSOPP).

The 35-year-old who will celebrate his 36th trip around the sun on Saturday doesn't cause drama. He doesn't vlog his poker play or berate his opponents. He just shows up at a tournament and takes everyone's chips, something he's done as effectively as anyone at the World Series of Poker the past decade.
