  • Typically, a draw pile is formed from the remaining cards after each player is dealt a certain number of cards, usually seven or ten. Players alternately draw cards from the discard or draw piles in an effort to form runs (three or more consecutive cards of the same suit) or sets (three or four cards of the same rank). A player can mark the end of a round by laying all of their cards down on the table after successfully melding them.
