Days after acquiring the World Series of Poker (WSOP) from Caesars Entertainment, GGPoker has announced the schedule of an online bracelet series that will take place later this month.
The series begins Aug. 17 and runs until Sept. 30, with 33 bracelets to be awarded. Players in the United States are not eligible to compete unless they travel to Canada, Mexico, or another country where the poker site is available.

The 2024 WSOP came to an end in Las Vegas last month with Jonathan Tamayo winning the record-setting 10,112-player Main Event for $10 million and then a couple other online bracelet winners followed on the WSOP Online platform. But there's still more to come, 33 bracelet events in total, starting with the $500 5th Annual WSOP Kickoff on Aug. 18.
One day later, Event #2: 300 Gladiators of Poker features a $2.5 million guaranteed prize pool in the no-limit hold'em tournament. The highlight of the month-long series will be the $5,000 WSOP Online Main Event, which promises at least $25 million in the pot. Main Event action begins Sept. 23.
Daniel Negreanu, GG's top ambassador, will have a role in the production of the online Main Event, and not just as a player. The Poker Hall of Famer, along with Jeff Gross, will provide some commentary duties during the final table livestream.
Negreanu ended an 11-year bracelet drought this summer to win the $50,000 Poker Players Championship for his seventh bracelet.
Other events of note include a $215 buy-in Mystery Millions tournament on Aug. 26, which has a $1 million top mystery bounty. The $1,500 Millionaire Maker, a longtime WSOP staple, takes place Sept. 9 and guarantees $1 million to the winner. While most events are of the no-limit hold'em variety, there are plenty of non-hold'em tournaments, such as the $5,000 Short Deck Championship (Sept. 10) and the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship (Sept. 17).

- Careful planning and strategic thinking are necessary to maximize the Rummy 777 51 Bonus. In addition to keeping an eye on the precise combination needed to unlock the bonus, players should concentrate on creating sets and runs of cards. As the formation of sets of seven cards is a crucial prerequisite for obtaining the bonus, this is a good way to go about it. To stay ahead in the game, players should also be aware of their opponents' movements & make an effort to predict their strategies. 25-01-31
- But sets are also very important in rummy strategy. Their ability to gather particular ranks that others might require to finish their hands makes them effective tools for preventing opponents from advancing. It's critical to strike a balance between forming sets & sequences because, although sets can offer strategic advantages that interrupt opponents' plans, sequences may present instant melding opportunities. In the end, knowing how to make the most of both sets and sequences will improve your gameplay overall & raise your winning chances. As players gain more Rummy experience, using sophisticated strategies is crucial to outwitting rivals and obtaining a competitive advantage. 25-01-31
- In the end, becoming proficient at discarding calls for repetition & a readiness to modify one's approach in response to the changing circumstances of each game. Another crucial aspect of rummy that calls for both strategy and intuition is card drawing. The players' current hand & overall game strategy determine whether they should draw from the stockpile or pick up a discarded card. Whether or not the drawn card can form a meld is often the deciding factor when choosing to draw from the stockpile. On the other hand, if a discarded card completes a set or sequence or stops an opponent's plan, it may be beneficial to pick it up. In addition, players should think about how their drawing decisions will affect succeeding turns. 25-01-31
- A bloated hand that is challenging to control, for example, can result from drawing too many cards from the stockpile without creating melds. Conversely, if you routinely pick up discarded cards, your opponents may be able to determine what melds you are pursuing and modify their strategy accordingly. To become proficient at drawing cards, one must therefore be able to predict how decisions will affect the course of the game in addition to making snap decisions. Rummy is primarily a melding game, & mastering this technique is crucial to winning. It is important for players to concentrate on building sets and sequences while maintaining the flexibility to modify their strategies in response to the cards they draw or discard. Given that forming sequences frequently call for fewer specific cards than sets, giving them priority early in the game is a useful tactic. 25-01-31
- For instance, the game is frequently connected to Diwali, the festival of lights, in India, where playing it during the celebration is thought to bestow luck and wealth upon participants. Similar to this, Eastern Rummy is frequently played in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka during religious celebrations and holidays as a means of honoring and celebrating long-standing traditions. Beyond being merely entertaining, the game has deep cultural significance & is ingrained in Eastern societies' social and spiritual fabric. Usually played between two and six players, Eastern Rummy is a card game. 25-01-31
- A key component of Rummy that has a big influence on a player's chances of winning is discarding. The skill of discarding entails not only selecting which cards to take out of one's hand but also taking into account how those decisions may impact the tactics of rivals. An opponent can be denied the card they require to finish a meld by a well-timed discard, but they may unintentionally gain an advantage by a poorly thought-out discard. 25-01-31
- Players must thus learn to be acutely aware of what their opponents are gathering & how to observe them. When discarding, players should be aware of their own hand composition in addition to strategic considerations. It is crucial to assess which cards have a lower probability of contributing to successful melds while taking prospective future draws into account. Early in the game, discarding high-point cards can help reduce the chance of scoring points in the event that an opponent goes out. 25-01-31

- A fixed number of cards are dealt to each player at the start of the game, and the remaining cards are arranged in a face-down draw pile. Tossing one card from their hand, each player takes a turn drawing cards from the draw or discard pile. The player who forms all of their cards into sets & runs at the end of the game declares Rummy & wins. Playing rummy calls for a blend of ability, cunning, & good fortune. Selecting which cards to keep, discard, or pick up requires players to quickly assess their hand. 25-01-31
