Each player receives 12 cards at the start of the game, with the remaining cards being arranged in a draw pile face down on the table. Every player takes a turn drawing a card from either the draw or discard pile, followed by the discarding of a card from their hand. The game continues until one player forms all of their cards into sets or runs and goes out, or until the draw pile runs out and no player can go out. The value of the cards that are still in the losing player's hand determines how many points are awarded at that point.
