President-elect Donald Trump (R) has spent the past few weeks putting together his cabinet and other roles within government, one of which happens to be an avid poker player.
Billy Long (R-Missouri) is Trump's pick to head the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) after the incoming republican president takes office Jan. 20, 2025, four years after he was removed from the position following a defeat at the hands of Joe Biden (D).
Long's Connection to Poker
Long, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from 2011 to 2023, has quite a history in the game of poker.
