The 2025 edition of the PokerNews Online Championship (PNOC) is nearing a thrilling conclusion, with only a trio of flights remaining in the $300,000 guaranteed Mystery Bounty Main Event. Those Day 1s run on February 24 in time for Day 2, also on February 24, before the final table shuffles up and deasl a day later under the watchful eyes of the 888poker Twitch channel and the PokerNewslive reporting team.
While 888poker players were attempting to punch their PNOC Main Event Day 2 tickets, others were grinding some of the series' side events. The $525 buy-in, $30,000 Big Shot High Roller was one of those tournaments. It drew in 80 entrants who created a $40,000 prize pool. More than a quarter of that pot is now in the 888poker account of Mexico's "scheeescheeee."
"scheeescheee" came out on top and turned their $525 into $10,100. Those who tuned into PokerNews' weekly recap of the $100,000 Mystery Bounty Main Event will likely remember "scheeescheee"'s alias because they are a regular in that event. As is the runner-up of this PNOC event, "Flopzilla_XD," who padded their bankroll with $7,060.
Unsurprisingly, both "scheeescheee" and "Flopzilla_XD" have navigated to Day 2 of the $300,000 Mystery Bounty Main Event. The former is currently in the top nine with 172,053 chips, while the latter occupies 19th place with a 144,652 stack.

Almost a Five Figure Score For ProfaNic.
The PKO Rumble saw 572 entries of $109 processed, and a guarantee-busting $57,200 prize pool created. The lion's share of the pot went to "ProfaNic." who missed out on a $10,000 score by only $59. "ProfaNic." captured the $4,684 top prize and added $5,256 from the bounty prize pool for a total haul worth $9,941.
All but two of the eight finalists won at least $1,510 for their efforts, with bounty payments included. If they haven't already, you'd imagine several of them will attempt to parlay their winnings into the $215 Mystery Bounty Main Event and attempt to scoop some of the $300,000 guaranteed to be won.

Don't Miss Your Last PNOC Main Event Chances

Only two more $215 buy-in PNOC Mystery Bounty Main Event flights remain on the schedule as the prize pool edges toward the $300,000 guarantee. A flight starts at 4:00 p.m. GMT and another at 6:00 p.m. GMT before Day 2 explodes into life from 9:30 p.m. GMT. Cut-price satellites are running throughout February 24, giving you the chance to turn a small investment into a PNOC title.
PokerNews' live reporting team is on the ground from Day 2 onward, giving you a chance to see your name on our world-famous pages. Additionally, PokerNews ambassador Lukas Robinson and 888poker ambassador Ian Simpson, who are both through to Day 2 of the PNOC Main Event, are streaming their play.
At the time of writing, 1,289 entries have been processed, with 1,500 required to hit the guarantee. Only 169 of those hopefuls have progressed to Day 2, with Montenegro's "K1llGriffith" leading the way with 217,469 chips.
Should you want to start Day 2 in the top ten, you'll need to turn your 10,000 starting stack into at least 160,901 over the course of 20 levels. Doing so will put you in a prime position to capture some mystery bounties, which are in-play from the start of the day's action. Two of those mystery bounties are worth $12,000, while the jackpot mystery bounty tips the scales at a cool $30,000.
Remaining PNOC Events
Time is running out if you want to become a PNOC champion in 2025. Only a handful of events remain incomplete, and the last of those shuffles up and deals at 7:00 p.m. GMT on February 25.
